My game says “Session Expired” or “Token Expired.” What is this?
Ran into a “Session Expired” or “Token Expired” message? No need to worry — both are simply security time-outs, and your game progress and wagers are safe. Here's what they mean and how to fix them.
(Please note: this information applies only to provinces where casino games are available.)
What these messages mean
When you log in and open a game, two things keep you connected and secure:
- Session: the secure connection between your device and our systems while you play. A “Session Expired” message means that connection has closed and needs to be refreshed. (On IGT games, a third-party provider featured on our site, this is the message you'll typically see.)
- Token: the temporary digital key that confirms you're signed in and playing in a valid session. A “Token Expired” message means that key has timed out and needs to be renewed.
Both expire automatically to keep your account safe — usually after a period of inactivity, if you've been logged in for a long time, if your connection drops, or if the game is open on more than one device or tab. Neither affects your balance or points to a problem with your account.
How to fix it
- Log out and log back in to start a fresh session, then reopen the game.
- If it continues, clear your temporary internet files and cookies, then restart your browser.
- Make sure you're only logged in on one device or tab at a time.

Will I lose my game progress or wager?
No. If the error happened during a game, your session is still safe: your game will either be waiting for you to finish when you reload it, or your wager will be refunded.
How to view the outcome of recent games
Go to Account Menu > Wallet > Gaming History, where you can view up to 12 months of your gaming history.
